I am Adriano Tegas, and I founded 25miglia together with a group of guides passionate about active tourism. Our operational base is in Ogliastra, a true “island within the island” and one of Sardinia’s three Blue Zones, a land of longevity where many centenarians still live in excellent health.

Our greatest strength is the land where we were born and raised. Exploring and sharing the beauty of Ogliastra – with ropes and harnesses in hand – is our way of helping preserve nature and traditions for future generations. Taking care of and maintaining the ancient pastoral trails, where we have guided many groups of hikers, is part of the mission of 25miglia.

Like the old shepherds of the Supramonte, we know that reaching the destination takes effort and determination. We are not afraid of heat or cold, wind or rain: our goal is to take you to discover the secrets of this unspoiled land, helping you experience it exactly as it is — always in complete safety.

I have always loved gaining experience, learning, meeting people, and discovering new ways to experience the mountains, also through the stories of the elders from our villages. It’s no coincidence that at 25miglia curiosity is part of our professional mindset. Our guides are carefully trained, regularly attend refresher courses, test new techniques, and work to obtain recognized industry certifications.

It is said that Michelangelo Buonarroti, already in old age, once said: “I am still learning.” The same applies to 25miglia: learning in order to share. We do this through active tourism, including canyoning, abseiling, coasteering, acquatrek, and multi-day trekking adventures.
