The Punta Salinas and Cala Goloritzé area is one of the most celebrated corners of the Supramonte di Ogliastra — and it’s easy to see why.

From here, a whole range of trekking and abseiling routes fans out across the landscape, suitable for different fitness levels and experience. But none of that would matter without what nature put here first. The scenery is built from just three ingredients — limestone, sea, and Mediterranean scrub — and somehow the result is extraordinary. The kind of landscape that overwhelms the senses and stays with you long after you’ve left.

Here, the old debate between mountain lovers and sea lovers simply dissolves. Standing on these cliffs, looking down at that water, nobody is keeping score. There is only the shared, slightly stunned feeling of being somewhere genuinely beautiful.
