We’re in the Supramonte di Baunei, at a place called Ololbissi — one of the most spectacular launching points on the entire Gulf of Orosei.

The adventure begins with a steep zigzag climb through the rocks, sheltered by a dense canopy of holm oaks and junipers. The forest keeps you cool on the way up — and builds the anticipation perfectly.

Then the limestone opens up, and you’re standing on the most dramatic viewpoint on the Gulf of Orosei. Time to get the ropes out.

The route includes multiple abseil descents, the tallest dropping a full 45 metres straight into the sea. The feeling of stepping off that edge — with nothing but blue water below — is something you won’t forget in a hurry.

But the descent isn’t the only highlight. Cool off with a swim in crystal-clear water, dry off in the sun, and take a breath. When you’re ready, hop aboard a rubber dinghy for the return journey along the coastline — one of the most beautiful stretches of sea in the Mediterranean.

And why stop there? The boat can drop you at Cala Sisine or Cala Mariolu for an extra swim at one of the most breathtaking beaches in Sardinia.

This experience is open to complete beginners. No prior abseiling experience needed — just a sense of adventure and a love of the sea.
